Dear friends and colleagues,
For almost four decades, I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve this great country and I have
developed a deep appreciation for the men and women who also chose to serve.
Unfortunately, not all service members transition seamlessly from the armed forces to the private sector.
During my time in Austin, Texas, I have witnessed veterans who lack support, live in poverty, and are
experiencing homelessness.
